[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] bhc, which operates ‘Jokbal Sanghoe,’ announced on the 2nd that it has opened a franchise store, ‘Bangi Branch,’ in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
bhc, which operates various dining brands such as Changgo43 and Keunmam Halmae Sundaeguk, consolidated its core competencies to open the first directly managed store of its first self-developed brand, Jokbal Sanghoe, called ‘Yeoksam Branch’ last year. In August this year, it opened its first franchise store, ‘Unjeong Branch,’ and officially launched its franchise business. Since then, it has been accelerating its franchise business by consecutively opening Janghanpyeong Branch, Handaeap Station Branch, and others. It plans to open a franchise store in Nonhyeon-dong, Incheon in January next year.
Jokbal Sanghoe has targeted the tastes of the 2030 generation by introducing new concept menus based on tradition and newtro, such as ‘Macho Jokbal’ and ‘Ppuring Jokbal.’ It has also received favorable reviews as a high-class dining space with a sophisticated design using wood tones and subtle lighting.
Jokbal Sanghoe Bangi Branch is prepared with about 70 seats. Located in the food alley of Bangi-dong, Seoul, the store has a high flow of people. It is expected to attract many customers, including office workers around Jamsil Station and family groups.
Jokbal Sanghoe Bangi Branch offers free Eotang Kalguksu with the main jokbal menu orders for visiting customers, and also runs a 3,000 KRW discount promotion for takeout orders.
