[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Onew (Lee Jinki) of the group SHINee will continue his acting activities.
Lee Jinki has been cast in Lotte Entertainment's first short-form content, "4 Minutes 44 Seconds" (directed by Park Jongkyun), taking on the horror genre.
"4 Minutes 44 Seconds" consists of eight episodes set in the confined space of an apartment, each episode lasting 4 minutes and 44 seconds. Based on everyday-related themes, it delivers a short but impactful sense of horror, promising fresh entertainment.
In particular, Lee Jinki plays the role of Gi-cheol, a man tormented by daily noise from the floors above, leading the story of strange sounds occurring in an old apartment and adding tension to the drama.
So far, Lee Jinki has received much love for his diverse activities including SHINee group promotions, solo albums, drama OSTs, and variety shows. He has also challenged acting through dramas such as "Descendants of the Sun," and musicals like "The Brothers Were Brave," "Rock of Ages," "Return," and "The Song of the Sun."
"4 Minutes 44 Seconds" began filming on the 1st, and Lee Jinki will start shooting on the 2nd.
