[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Total sleep care brand Evejari Co., Ltd. won the Grand Prize in the Quality Management category at the '2021 Global Standard Management Awards' ceremony held on the 2nd at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan. This marks the third consecutive year since 2019 that the company has received the grand prize, following the Excellence Award in 2018.


The Global Standard Management Awards, hosted by the Korea Management Registrar (KMR), recognize companies with outstanding management systems and related achievements. The Quality Management category is awarded to companies that have achieved excellent quality levels through the establishment of quality improvement systems, adoption of advanced techniques, and process innovation and improvement. Evaluation criteria include ▲strategic quality management planning and execution ▲quality management activity performance ▲management performance.


Evejari was recognized for establishing the business vision of 'Total Sleep Care' within the growing Sleeponomics market, realizing product and service advancement aimed at high-quality sleep. These achievements are based on the continuous research and development activities and technological capabilities of the Evejari Sleep Environment Research Institute.


In 2014, Evejari launched the brand Sleep&Sleep with the goal of providing high-quality sleep solutions. Through Sleep&Sleep, they offer three product categories?mattress toppers, functional pillows, and duvet inners?customized for individual needs.


They also introduced an experiential consulting service that accurately introduces customized bedding to customers. This service assesses individual sleep habits and body types to recommend products that aid restful sleep. Professional training for employees and dealership owners, along with an in-house expert certification system, have been implemented to enhance consulting expertise and continuously improve service capabilities.


New business initiatives are underway to expand the target demographic to the MZ generation. They continue to introduce fresh attempts to revitalize the brand image, such as releasing collaboration products with exclusive model IU. Additionally, they are exploring various approaches, including expanding experience-based offline stores and strengthening online-to-offline (O2O) systems.


Yoon Jong-woong, CEO of Evejari, stated, "In response to the increasing population with sleep disorders and growing interest in restful sleep, Evejari has set the goal of becoming the 'world's best total sleep care company by 2030' and is driving quality improvement."
