SSG.com Grocery Special Sale... Fresh and Processed Foods Up to 50% Off

SSG.com will hold a food discount event focusing on essential grocery items from the 2nd to the 8th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SSG.com announced on the 2nd that it will hold a food discount event focusing on essential grocery items from the 2nd to the 8th.

In this event, 100 types of fresh and processed foods, as well as Home Meal Replacement (HMR) products selected as the ‘Top 100 Popular Grocery Items,’ will be offered at up to 50% off or in ‘1+1’ and ‘2+1’ deals. Notably, on the first day of the event, Zespri Green Kiwis will be offered at about half price, and Peacock Shabu-shabu cooking ingredients will be sold at a 20% discount. On the 3rd, Harim chicken meat for braised chicken stew will be available at a 40% discount, and Peacock Chosun Hotel kimchi at a 20% discount.

Korean beef products will be discounted by up to 40%. About 40 popular items preferred at home, such as steak, bulgogi, and soup-cut parts, have been prepared. Grade 1 Korean beef sirloin can be purchased starting from the high 20,000 KRW range, and Grade 1 Korean beef soup cuts from the low 10,000 KRW range.

An event showcasing excellent food products from the Gyeongsangbuk-do region will also be held. Specialty products and traditional market items from Gyeongbuk, such as Guryongpo Gwamegi (half-dried herring), Yeongdeok squid, Uiseong garlic, and Cheongdo dried persimmon slices, will be sold at special prices. Additionally, all products will have a basic 10% discount, and an extra discount of up to 10% will be applied when purchasing three or more event items.

An SSG.com official said, “We prepared the most popular grocery representative products, Korean beef, and excellent regional food products at the lowest price levels this year to reduce customers’ grocery basket cost burdens,” adding, “We will continue various themed food sale events until the end of the year.”
