HDC Group announced on this day that HDC Labs, a new integrated corporation formed by the merger of HDC iControls and HDC iService, officially launched on December 1.

The goal is to become a spatial digital platform company by combining HDC iControls' AIoT technological capabilities with HDC iService's comprehensive real estate management expertise.

They plan to foster future growth businesses such as building operation platforms and B2C service platforms by integrating AIoT technology accumulated in HDC iControls' core smart home and smart building businesses with HDC iService's know-how in comprehensive real estate management, landscaping, and interior design.

On the same day, HDC Labs held its launch ceremony at iPark Tower in Samseong-dong, Seoul, attended by CEO Kim Sung-eun and employees.

CEO Kim said, "By combining the capabilities of both companies, we will strengthen business connectivity and nurture new growth businesses. We will grow into a spatial AIoT platform company by providing digital-based services that integrate expertise in construction and maintenance with technology and data."

Meanwhile, HDC iControls and HDC iService held board meetings on June 4 to resolve the merger, followed by extraordinary general meetings on October 26 to approve the merger agreement and amendments to the articles of incorporation, proceeding with the merger process.
