Japan Discovers Another Omicron Case in One Day... Second Infection Case (Breaking News)

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] FNN reported on the 1st that the second case of infection with the new Omicron variant of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Japan.

This is the second case following the announcement by Japanese authorities the previous day of a man in his 30s, a Japanese national, infected with Omicron. The first confirmed Omicron case was identified as having entered Japan through Narita Airport on the 28th.
