Song Kang-ho's '1 Victory' → Ha Jung-woo & Im Si-wan's '1947 Boston' Released in 2022


[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Song Kang-ho stars in '1 Seung' and '1947 Boston,' which will hit theaters in 2022.


Investment and distribution company Contents Nandagina (CEO Choi Hyunmuk) announced on the 1st that the films '1947 Boston,' '1 Seung,' 'Bigwang,' and 'She Died' will be released sequentially.


'1 Seung' (director Shin Yeonsik), starring Song Kang-ho with Park Jung-min and Jang Yoon-ju, will be released on May 4 next year; 'Bigwang' (director Lee Ji-won), starring Ryu Seung-ryong and Ha Ji-won, on July 27; and 'She Died' (director Kim Se-hwi), starring Byun Yo-han and Shin Hye-sun, on September 7, respectively.


Additionally, director Kang Je-gyu’s new film '1947 Boston,' featuring Ha Jung-woo and Im Si-wan, is also under negotiation for release next year.


Contents Nandagina also announced that they are preparing a film tentatively titled 'Still Life,' which deals with profound themes of life and death, as well as a remake of the 2007 music film 'Midnight Sun' directed by Koizumi Norihiro, under the same title.


They added, "We actively select investment and distribution projects not only with commercial appeal but also those with sufficient artistic value and meaning, and high-quality content. We will lead the way in focusing on the intrinsic potential of works to revitalize the healthy content industry in the market stagnated by COVID-19, embodying the essence of the content business."
