[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Daesang Cheongjeongwon announced on the 1st that it will launch new products, "Nakgopsae Jeongol" and "Jjukkumi Bulgogi," through its home meal replacement (HMR) brand "Homings."
Cheongjeongwon's "Homings" offers convenient meal products that allow consumers to easily enjoy grilled dishes, stews, and stir-fries at home, which are usually cumbersome to prepare. To expand the range of HMR menus that were previously focused on meat, Cheongjeongwon has released two new products using seafood such as jjukkumi (webfoot octopus) and shrimp.
The newly launched "Nakgopsae Jeongol" and "Jjukkumi Bulgogi" are convenient meal products that replicate popular restaurant dishes that are difficult to prepare at home due to the complicated ingredient preparation. All necessary ingredients including seafood, meat, vegetables, and seasonings are included, so there is no need to prepare additional ingredients or sauces. The meat and vegetables are flash-frozen to preserve the nutrition and texture of the ingredients.
The two new products can be purchased at discount stores such as Lotte Mart, Daesang's official online mall Jeongwon e-Shop, and various online marketplaces.
A Daesang representative said, "We launched these new products targeting consumers who want convenient meals that guarantee restaurant-quality taste while being easy and quick to eat," adding, "We will continue to focus on developing various products that reflect trends and consumer preferences."
