Reasonable Plans and Various Communication Supports Over 2 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 30th that Livem (hereinafter Liv Mobile), the first mobile communication service in the financial sector, surpassed 200,000 subscribers just two years after its launch.
Launched under the concept of "a new meeting of finance and telecommunications," the innovative financial service Liv Mobile is the first mobile communication service in the financial sector operated based on KB Kookmin Bank's long-standing financial expertise and high trustworthiness. In November 2019, KB Kookmin Bank launched a reasonably priced mobile communication service by providing 5G services in the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) sector.
Liv Mobile operates various services to enhance practical benefits for mobile communication customers, including ▲ the first watch plan in the MVNO sector ▲ partnerships with various companies such as Apple, Samsung Electronics, and Coupang ▲ the first membership service in the MVNO sector (offering cafe/bakery/convenience store vouchers and savings interest rate discount coupons) ▲ a free data sharing service that allows data to be shared for free on tablets or smart devices.
Meanwhile, to practice ESG management, Liv Mobile supports vulnerable communication groups by installing and operating free Wi-Fi in KB Small Libraries and providing mobile phones and communication fee support for children from low-income families. It has also supported the establishment of the "MVNO Square," a promotional space for MVNO operators, and has been striving for the development of the telecommunications industry through win-win cooperation with MVNO operators.
A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "We will continue to discover innovative services through the convergence of finance and telecommunications and continuously provide new experiences and value as the 'Nation’s lifelong communication partner.'"
