Gokseong-gun Gallery107 Year-End Special Invitational Exhibition Held

Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the Walk and Draw Sketch Contest

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cha Jongseon] From December 2 to December 31, a year-end special invitational exhibition will be held at Gallery 107 and four street galleries in Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.

This exhibition invites 65 award-winning works from the 'Gokseong-gun Walk and Draw Sketch Contest' held on November 6 at Gokseong Ddukbang Park.

The grand prize-winning work, "Purmeum, Gokseong" (Baek Suhyun), is a piece that harmoniously depicts the calmly flowing Gokseongcheon Stream and the scenery of Ddukbang Market, praised for expressing Gokseong with a clean color tone.

In addition, you can see works such as the Excellence Award winners: Kindergarten division "Train Running on Gokseongcheon" (Lee Suhyun), Lower Elementary division "Hello! Gokseong" (Choi Haram), Upper Elementary division "Ddukbang Market" (Yoon Seojeong), Middle School division "Memories of Gokseong" (Kim Eunbin), and High School division "Together, Gokseong" (Ahn Seeun).

A representative of Gallery 107 said, "Through the exhibition of the sketch contest award-winning works, we hope the cultural image of Gokseong will be widely known among students in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju. Also, we hope that the experience of this invitational exhibition will serve as a positive motivation for the participants to further nurture their dreams in art."
