According to Nonghyup Bank on the 30th, President Kwon held a scholarship award ceremony the previous day at the bank's headquarters located in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was organized to support promising athletes training under difficult circumstances in various sports disciplines, helping them grow into outstanding talents. Scholarships ranging from 2 million to 5 million KRW were given to 23 promising athletes in the sports supported and operated by Nonghyup Bank: 5 in golf, 3 in tennis, 4 in soft tennis, 3 in billiards, and 8 in ssireum.
President Kwon stated, “We want to offer a small hope to promising athletes with unlimited potential so they can grow into future national representatives,” adding, “Nonghyup Bank will continue to make efforts to discover and nurture promising athletes.”
