[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, trainee reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Ulju-gun held the '2021 Welcome, Yeongnam Alps Starlight Tour' for two days starting from the 27th at the Deungeok-ri Complex Welcome Center.
Each day, 27 families with elementary school children participated.
The families enjoyed astronomy programs such as observing solar prominences, making air rockets, building telescopes, and observing the universe through telescopes.
A professional astronomy instructor was invited to conduct space observation experiences tailored to children's perspectives, including solar prominences, Venus, and Jupiter.
One citizen said, "Participating in the program increased my interest in astronomy and allowed me to spend a meaningful day with my family. I hope such programs are held frequently."
An Ulju-gun official stated, "We aim to nurture children's infinite imagination about space and promote the beautiful natural environment of the Yeongnam Alps."
