The campaign targets 809 buses, including intercity buses within the province and city and rural buses in four cities/counties: Jinju, Tongyeong, Yangsan, and Geochang.
Bus passengers can recommend friendly bus drivers using the Gyeongnam Friendly Bus app.
Among the recommended friendly bus drivers, the top 10 and 40 excellent drivers will be selected and awarded prize money, and participants in the campaign will be entered into a draw to receive prizes.
Heo Dongsik, Director of the Urban Transportation Bureau of the province, said, "We expect this campaign to encourage friendly bus drivers who practice the prevention of safety accidents on local bus routes and contribute to establishing a proper traffic culture."
