Extreme total brand Blackbriar (CEO Do Jeong-gu) recently announced the opening of a 400-pyeong camping concept store near the Roman Lake in Beijing, China.
The store, opened in collaboration with a Chinese partner, serves as a space where customers can enjoy and stay while purchasing products. It also features a separate camping restaurant concept area, offering a unique experience.
Blackbriar was officially launched in 2017 after two years of collaboration with world-renowned athletes to improve design and functionality, based on the professional snowboarding experience and brand directing expertise of CEO Do Jeong-gu, a domestic professional snowboarder and creative director, undergoing numerous testing processes.
Starting with ski and snowboard bags, Blackbriar has expanded into a brand handling various extreme sports equipment such as surfing, skateboarding, and biking, extending its product line to include bags, apparel, carriers, and camping gear.
CEO Do Jeong-gu of Blackbriar stated, “Although the brand is unfamiliar domestically, it has become known overseas first among world-renowned athletes for its user-centered functionality and design, and it exports globally to the US, Europe, China, Japan, and more.” He added, “We plan to expand the store into a cultural space where extreme sports enthusiasts can enjoy the space and purchase products.”
Meanwhile, Blackbriar is scheduled to release a collaboration product in December through a partnership with Rossignol, a leading French ski brand.
