Kim Chang-hwan, Deputy Editor of Segye Ilbo, Appointed President of the Korean Editors Association


[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] The Korea Editors Association announced on the 25th that Kim Chang-hwan, deputy editor of Segye Ilbo, who ran unopposed in the election for the 50th president held at the Korea Press Center in Seoul, was elected.


Newly appointed President Kim began his career in journalism in 2003 at Daejeon Maeil (now Chungcheong Today) and is currently working in the editing department of Segye Ilbo. He previously served as the 48th and 49th vice president and secretary general of the association.


The term of office is from January next year to December 2023.
