No Admission Verification Required for Major Universities
Cash Refund Upon Completion of Required Study Hours
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Etoos has launched the ‘Etoos Pass’ product, which refunds tuition fees quarterly if students complete a certain amount of course hours without requiring university admission certification.
Unlike other companies’ products that refund tuition fees only after certification of admission to major universities, the ‘Etoos Pass’ refunds 100% of the tuition fees upon completion of a set number of course hours regardless of university admission results.
If students complete at least 3 subjects totaling 120 hours during the March, June, and September periods, and at least 3 subjects totaling 80 hours in November, tuition fees will be paid in cash quarterly over four installments. After achieving the required study hours, students must participate in the nationwide joint academic assessment organized by the Office of Education, the mock evaluation hosted by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, and use the November CSAT grading service.
The Etoos Pass product is divided into ▲ Etoos Pass, which allows unlimited access to all courses for prospective high school freshmen to seniors, and ▲ Etoos Premium Pass, which combines the Metaverse single-subject academy with learning devices such as the Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Watch4, and Galaxy Buds2. Devices will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 5,000 students, and the Metaverse single-subject academy is scheduled to be newly launched in December.
Purchasing either pass product provides access to ‘Jokbo.com’ and the real-time video Q&A problem-solving learning support service ‘Curi’.
The Etoos Premium Pass also offers the ‘Etoos Immersive Lectures,’ which focus on core content, and instructor-specific ‘Secret On-site Materials.’
No Jaekyu, Head of Etoos Education Online Business Division, explained, "The Etoos Pass does not require admission to major universities for refunds but recognizes the study hours of students regardless of admission results, focusing on helping students concentrate on their studies to achieve maximum learning effectiveness."
