'10 Million Subscribers' Budget Phones, Generous Prizes Including Galaxy Z Flip3

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post has launched an event to celebrate reaching 10 million budget phone subscribers, running for 38 days from the 24th of this month until the 31st of next month, featuring exclusive event plans and the latest prizes.

Since September 2013, Korea Post has been selling budget phones at post office counters, supporting sales channels for small and medium budget phone companies and contributing to achieving 10 million budget phone subscribers.

During the event period, 11 exclusive Korea Post budget phone event plans will be released, with basic fees ranging from 1,100 KRW to 20,900 KRW depending on voice and data usage, and some plans offering up to one year of basic fee discounts.

New Korea Post budget phone subscribers will be entered into a draw to win generous prizes including Galaxy Z Flip3 (11 winners), Galaxy Buds2 (33 winners), and Shinsegae mobile gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW (330 winners), totaling 374 winners.

Korea Post budget phones can be subscribed to at over 1,500 budget phone-selling post offices nationwide, as well as through the Internet Post Office and Korea Post app. A total of 109 budget phone products are available, offering various plans including unlimited data options.
