Gyeongbuk Yeongju-si, Future Food Source Discovery Project Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk Province, held the 'Mega Project Task Discovery Promotion Team Workshop' for two days starting from the 22nd at the National Forest Healing Center.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Yeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province, held a 'Mega Project Task Discovery Promotion Team Workshop' for two days from the 22nd to the 23rd.

The Mega Project Task Discovery Promotion Team was formed last September to create new momentum for Yeongju City's sustainable growth and to discover future growth engines that lead the rapidly changing era.

The promotion team was organized with Vice Mayor Kang Seong-ik as the head, consisting of 20 members including external experts and city officials, and was conducted through individual expert consultations and small group meetings.

The workshop included expert lectures and opinion exchanges based on understanding major government policies and current trends, as well as discovering policy ideas.

The city plans to promote various methods such as meetings, external expert consultations, and commissioned research to ensure that the policy ideas presented at the workshop become large-scale projects responsible for future growth.

The promotion team will hold small group meetings by field to continuously generate ideas for policy tasks through surveys, brainstorming, and other activities.

Jang Wook-hyun, Mayor of Yeongju City, said, “I thank the promotion team for their efforts to discover future policies for our city,” and added, “We will spare no support during this valuable time to find ideas for future growth engines.”
