[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 23rd that it invited three customers who won first and second prizes in the ‘More Attractive the More You See’ event held to commemorate its 53rd anniversary to the head office for a prize-giving ceremony.
The ‘More Attractive the More You See’ event, held for 53 days from September 24, provided one medal per financial product subscription out of a total of 14 products?including credit cards, savings/deposits, loans, foreign currency savings/deposits, funds, and ISA?through both face-to-face channels such as branch visits and non-face-to-face channels like Smart Banking (APP) and mobile web banking. The number of medals earned was used to classify participants into gold, silver, and bronze medal groups for a drawing, awarding prizes such as the Gwangju Global Motors (GGM) ‘Casper’ and kimchi refrigerators.
Among the total 38,272 participants, winners were selected by drawing. One first-place winner received the Gwangju Global Motors (GGM) ‘Casper,’ and two second-place winners received kimchi refrigerators.
Additionally, reflecting the trend of expanding non-face-to-face culture, lifestyle-related coupons such as Coupang Eats gift certificates and wavve usage vouchers were provided to 20,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis for product subscriptions.
The first-place winner said, “I have trusted and done business with Gwangju Bank for a long time, and I am very happy to receive such a great gift. I am especially grateful to receive the new car ‘Casper’ from Gwangju Global Motors (GGM), born as the nation’s first labor-management win-win ‘Gwangju-type job’ model, as a meaningful present.” He added, “I hope Gwangju Bank continues to lead the revitalization of the local economy and remains a comfortable and warm representative local bank for the community.”
Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, said, “Thank you for your great interest and support for this event held to share the joy of Gwangju Bank’s 53rd anniversary and to repay the love our customers always give us generously.”
He continued, “Going forward, Gwangju Bank will do its best to fulfill its role as the representative bank of Gwangju and Jeonnam by practicing the values of ‘coexistence with the region and companionship with local residents’ as a local community bank, focusing on community-based management and inclusive finance. We ask you to join us on the path to becoming a 100-year bank.”
