[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] IBK Savings Bank announced on the 23rd that it recently established a Youth Board within the organization and held its inauguration ceremony.

IBK Savings Bank will select more than seven youth board members annually from employees at the manager level and below. Through this, the bank aims to nurture future talent and use the Youth Board as a communication channel with MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) employees to foster a horizontal organizational culture.

The agenda of the Youth Board covers all aspects of management, including product development, management participation, organizational culture, and work environment, with no restrictions. The Youth Board will meet once every quarter, and after freely presenting opinions and discussions to resolve agenda items, these will be reflected in management strategies or pursued as tasks by operational departments.

Seo Jeong-hak, CEO of IBK Savings Bank, emphasized, “Starting with the launch of the Youth Board, we will create a horizontal corporate culture,” adding, “The management will also incorporate the thoughts and opinions of MZ generation employees into management to respond to the rapidly changing environment.”
