[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Hotel Shilla has launched a premium meal kit that embodies 'hotel fine dining enjoyed at home.' As the first meal kit under the Hotel Shilla brand, it features enhanced convenience when cooked using Samsung Electronics' cooking appliance 'Bespoke Cooker,' released in July.

On the 23rd, Hotel Shilla announced the launch of the premium meal kit 'Shilla Dining at Home,' which applies the highest quality ingredients and recipes used at Shilla Hotel. The lineup consists of three types: ▲Black Angus Tenderloin Steak ▲Tteokgalbi Grill ▲Mero Steak.

The Black Angus beef used for the tenderloin steak is a top-tier ingredient handled by luxury hotels and restaurants. It is certified by the Certified Angus Beef (CAB) program, managed by the American Angus Beef Association, and is characterized by being aged refrigerated throughout the distribution process. A Hotel Shilla official said, "We went through a long development process to ensure the beef’s rich juices and tender texture can deliver the taste of hotel dining," adding, "It is served with a Perigueux sauce made from truffle, one of the world's three great delicacies, and Madeira wine."

The Tteokgalbi is also made by mincing rib meat from CAB Black Angus beef, offering a soft texture and rich juices. The Mero steak meal kit is also enhanced with hotel-grade selected ingredients. It comes with a citrus sauce containing yuzu and orange.

'Shilla Dining at Home' is available for purchase at two food companies’ direct online stores, MyChef and Fresh Easy. MyChef sells the premium Mero steak, while Fresh Easy offers the premium tenderloin steak and Tteokgalbi.

The meal kits can be easily prepared at home using an air fryer or oven. When using Samsung Electronics' 'Bespoke Cooker,' simply scanning the meal kit barcode automatically sets the optimal temperature and cooking time, allowing you to recreate the fine dining taste intended by Hotel Shilla’s chefs. By subscribing to Samsung Card’s convenient meal subscription service 'My Cooker Plan,' customers can purchase the Samsung Bespoke Cooker at a discounted price and enjoy a variety of groceries, including the 'Shilla Dining at Home' meal kits.
