Paycoin launches telecom fee service... Up to 50% discount benefits available

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The simple payment platform ‘Paycoin’ is launching a telecommunications fee service. When paying telecom fees through Paycoin, users can receive discounts of up to 50% on their bills.

On the 22nd, Danal Fintech, the operator of Paycoin, announced that Paycoin has partnered with the mobile carrier ‘Greenrope’ to start the telecommunications fee service. Following the telecom fee discounts, various bundled telecom services will also be launched.

This service offers an additional 25% Paycoin cashback benefit on top of a 25% contract discount. For example, if you choose a monthly plan costing 58,000 KRW, you receive a 14,500 KRW discount from the contract discount and an additional 14,500 KRW cashback in Paycoin, saving a total of 29,000 KRW.

The available mobile carriers to choose from are LG Uplus and KT. SKT support will be added later. It is possible to maintain telecom membership benefits without using budget phone plans. To use this service, customers must apply for a contract plan when opening a new line or changing devices at the ‘Paycoin Exclusive Mall.’

An event is also underway for service applicants. Paycoin is running a promotion where customers who apply for the Paycoin telecom service in November will immediately receive Paycoin worth 10,000 KRW.
