[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] ‘Goseong Nobel Country Club’ donated 30 million KRW to Dong-Eui Science University on the 17th to support the development of college baseball.
About 10 officials from both institutions attended the donation ceremony, including Dong-Eui Science University President Kim Young-do, Baseball Team Coach Yeom Jong-seok, and Goseong Nobel Country Club CEO Choi Kyung-hoon.
Dong-Eui Science University established its baseball team last year, becoming the first specialized college in the Busan area to do so.
The baseball team, led by inaugural coach Yeom Jong-seok and composed of former high school baseball players, achieved the milestone of advancing to the ‘2021 KUSF College Baseball U-League Championship’ in its first year.
President Kim Young-do stated, “The donation will be used to improve player welfare and promote the development of college baseball.”
CEO Choi Kyung-hoon said, “We will spare no effort to support young people in various ways so that they can pursue the dreams they have aimed for.”
Goseong Nobel Country Club is a golf club developed on a 450,000-pyeong site with 27 holes.
