[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS25 announced on the 11th that it will sell upgraded strawberry sandwiches through online reservation orders.
This month, reservations will be made through the mobile application (app) 'The Pop,' and from early next month, full-scale sales will begin at GS25 offline stores. Customers can purchase products by entering the desired date, time, quantity, and store in the reservation order menu.
The newly introduced strawberry sandwich uses a special cream made by blending fresh cream and custard cream instead of waffle cream, which was used previously. The strawberries are the Seolhyang variety, known for their high sugar content, sourced from regions famous for sweetness such as Nonsan and Sancheong. At the end of next month, GS25 plans to introduce a premium strawberry sandwich using matcha cream for the first time in the industry.
A GS25 representative said, "Strawberry sandwiches, with their sweet taste and soft texture, have long established themselves as a popular winter product that comes to mind when cold winds blow," adding, "This year, the differentiated strawberry sandwich, upgraded to be even more delicious, will capture customers' hearts."
