[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Hyundai Doosan Infracore and Hyundai Construction Equipment, the top two companies in the domestic construction machinery industry, will participate together for the first time in an international construction machinery exhibition as part of Hyundai Genuine, the construction machinery holding company of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group.

The two companies announced on the 8th that they will participate in the "Korea International Construction Machinery Exhibition" held from the 10th to the 13th at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, showcasing smart construction solutions and eco-friendly construction equipment. They will also unveil new construction machinery models being launched domestically and internationally, providing visitors with the opportunity to closely examine the equipment.

Now in its 11th edition, the Korea International Construction Machinery Exhibition is the largest construction machinery exhibition in Korea held every three years, with a total of 190 companies from 15 countries participating.

Hyundai Construction Equipment will introduce the platform "Hyundai Connect," which enables remote equipment diagnostics and automated machine control. They will also exhibit eco-friendly construction equipment such as a 14-ton hydrogen excavator, a 1.8-ton hydrogen forklift, and a 1.8-ton electric excavator. New products including a 52-ton ultra-large excavator and a 14-ton excavator that does not require urea solution will also be unveiled.

Hyundai Doosan Infracore will showcase its self-developed 3D machine guidance system (a solution that provides real-time work information to operators via excavator sensors) and a wheel loader transparent bucket (a basket-shaped attachment for carrying soil).

Additionally, they will introduce the unmanned automated integrated control solution "Site Cloud" and demonstrate remote control of a 22-ton excavator at the Boryeong test site in Chungnam. A new 35-ton demolition special equipment used for building demolition will also be unveiled for the first time at the exhibition.

A Hyundai Genuine official stated, "By utilizing the integrated research and development (R&D) organization of Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hyundai Doosan Infracore, we will maximize synergy and lead future innovative technologies in the construction machinery market."
