[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] Attention is focused on a Taiwanese math instructor who gave 'math lectures' for a year on a famous American adult site. This instructor has gained fame mainly among netizens and is now reportedly earning hundreds of millions of won in revenue.
According to Taiwanese media 'Poker Taiwan' on the 2nd (local time), Chang Xun, who worked as a teacher for 15 years, devised a 'special strategy' to succeed as an online instructor. It was to upload his lecture videos on a famous overseas adult site.
Since May last year, Chang Xun has been uploading math lectures on 'Pornhub,' the world's largest adult video platform. It has been confirmed that about 230 lectures have been registered on his video channel so far. Wearing his trademark gray hoodie, Chang Xun tirelessly lectured on calculus, vectors, and more.
Although the content was not adult material, netizens' reactions were enthusiastic. The total views of all videos uploaded by Chang Xun exceed 1.9 million, and the number of subscribers is close to 7,000.

Netizens reportedly visit Chang Xun's account more for amusement than for studying math. They left comments such as "Are all Asian adult contents like this?" and "It strangely draws your attention."
Eventually, gaining great popularity, Chang Xun also started paid lectures, and thanks to this, he is now earning about $268,000 annually (approximately 317 million won).
Regarding the background of uploading lectures on an adult site, Chang Xun said in an interview with local media, "The online lecture market is very competitive," and added, "I tried lecturing on YouTube as well, but it was hard to stand out."
He explained that instead of the highly competitive general video platforms, he chose a place where he could attract attention. Chang Xun said, "Many college students watch my lectures, and when I asked myself where I could find college students, the answer was adult sites," adding, "As a calculus teacher, I was able to reach an average of hundreds of students. I knew this day would come."
He also emphasized, "Other instructors are following me by uploading lecture videos on adult sites," and said, "It is about trying new strategies to survive in the market."
