BMW Group Korea Launches November Service Extension Package Promotion

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] BMW Group Korea announced on the 1st that it will conduct the ‘BMW/MINI Service Extension Package Promotion’ at official service centers nationwide throughout November.

During the event period, ‘BSI Premium’ and ‘BSI Plus’ will be sold at a 20% discounted price. Purchasing BSI Premium provides replacement services for some major consumables not included in the basic BSI Standard items for the vehicle. Adding the BSI Plus package to a vehicle with BSI Premium extends the service period to 8 years/160,000 km.

MINI also offers the ‘MSI Premium’ package, which adds service items to the MSI Standard, and ‘MSI Plus,’ which can extend the MSI Premium service period up to 5 years/100,000 km, both at a 20% discounted price.

Additionally, ‘Warranty Plus’ and ‘Warranty Plus Upgrade,’ which extend the warranty repair period for BMW and MINI vehicles, are sold at a 15% discounted price.

Warranty Plus is a package that extends the vehicle’s free warranty period to 3 years/200,000 km or 5 years/200,000 km, and adding ‘Warranty Plus Upgrade’ to a vehicle with Warranty Plus can extend the warranty period to 5 years/200,000 km.

The cost and availability of extending the service package program vary depending on the model and can be confirmed through BMW and MINI official service centers nationwide.

Meanwhile, BMW Group Korea explained that customers who purchase service packages during this promotion period will receive a BMW/MINI umbrella along with a 30% discount coupon for an original 12V battery. Furthermore, when paying for the service extension package with a Samsung Card, a 6-month interest-free installment benefit is provided.
