[Exclusive] Director Change for 'Marriage Lyrics Divorce Composition' Season 3... PD Osangwon Takes the Helm

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The director of 'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)' Season 3 has been replaced. Actors Seonghoon and Itaegon have left the cast, and changes are also noticeable among the cast members.

According to broadcasting officials on the 29th, PD Yoo Jeongjun, who led TV Chosun's drama 'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)' Seasons 1 and 2, has stepped down, and PD Oh Sangwon will direct Season 3.

Written by writer Im Seonghan under the pen name Phoebe, 'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)' gained attention for its story about three wives in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who choose divorce due to discord in their marriages, along with the surrounding characters.

Season 1 first aired in January, and Season 2 began broadcasting in June. The two series attracted popularity with their shocking plot twists and achieved the highest ratings on TV Chosun. PD Yoo Jeongjun and PD Lee Seunghoon directed Seasons 1 and 2, but from Season 3, PD Oh Sangwon will take the helm.

PD Oh has participated in directing dramas such as 'Oh! Pilseung Bongsunyoung' (2004), 'Sad Sonata' (2005), and 'Poseidon' (2011).

'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)' Season 3 recently set sail. Script reading began on the 22nd, and the full-scale journey will start next month.

Additionally, actors Seonghoon and Itaegon, who led Seasons 1 and 2, reportedly expressed their intention to leave early on. The production team has been searching for actors to take on the roles of Shin Yushin and Pan Sahyeon, and new faces are expected to appear.

Previously, the final episode of Season 2 ended with a shocking ending where Bubae (Seo Dongma) and Park Jumi (Sapiyoung), and Seonghoon (Pan Sahyeon) and Song Ji-in (Ami) each got married. A scene where Park Seokyeong (Shin Jia) approaches Kim Boyeon (Kim Dongmi) to strangle her while possessed by the spirit of her grandfather Noh Juhyun (Shin Jushin) drew attention.

All eyes are on what story Season 3, now reorganized, will unfold. It is scheduled to air next spring.
