Hapcheon-gun Establishes 2022 Cadastral Resurvey Project Implementation Plan

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it has selected six districts, including Hapcheon 16 District, and established an implementation plan to promote the 2022 cadastral readjustment project.

The cadastral readjustment project is a national policy project conducted to resolve land disputes and improve land utilization by newly setting cadastral boundaries based on actual boundary standards for cadastral discrepancies where the cadastral registers created and registered during the Japanese colonial period land and forest survey project do not match the actual status of the land. This aims for efficient national land management and protection of citizens' property rights.

The county plans to establish an implementation plan for 1,380 parcels in six cadastral readjustment districts in 2022, collect residents' opinions through public inspection, announcement, and project guidance procedures, and designate districts with the consent of more than two-thirds of landowners by holding online or resident briefings, followed by cadastral surveying and other subsequent work.

Since 2012, the county has completed cadastral readjustment for 19 districts (2,193 parcels, 851,000㎡), including Ssangchaek Wolgok District. Projects for six districts (1,184 parcels, 685,000㎡) are underway from 2021 to 2022, and newly, projects for six districts (1,380 parcels, 423,000㎡) are planned for 2022.

Moon Jun-hee, mayor of Hapcheon-gun, said, "We ask for the active participation and cooperation of landowners for the smooth promotion of the 2022 cadastral readjustment project for six districts including Hapcheon 16 District, and we expect that this project will not only resolve boundary disputes but also greatly enhance the land's utilization value."
