[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 28th that it has introduced five non-face-to-face safe travel destinations where visitors can find mental and physical stability in the era of 'With Corona'.

Sancheong-gun introduced outdoor tourist spots within the region where social distancing is possible among the famous local tourist attractions. The 'Top 5 Non-Face-to-Face Travel Destinations in Sancheong' were selected focusing on healing tourist spots where visitors can maintain a certain distance from other tourists and relax in nature.

The first place to introduce is the Jurye Ecological Trail in Jungsan-ri, where you can enjoy the view of Jirisan, which has begun to change into its autumn colors. The recently completed Jurye Ecological Trail was named after the alternative name of Jirisan, Duryusan.

Among the nine scenic spots of Sancheong, Jeongchuiam in Shindeung-myeon and Suseonsa in Sancheong-eup, recently recognized as great places for photography on SNS, are also popular autumn outing destinations.

Jeongchuiam attracts attention with its temple located on a cliff that looks as if it was carved out on the way there. It was founded by Uisang Daesa in the 6th year of King Sinmun of Silla and is designated as Traditional Temple No. 83.

The traditional hanok village 'Namsa Yedamchon,' designated as the first village by the nonprofit organization 'The Most Beautiful Village in Korea,' is a place where you can appreciate the beauty of traditional Korean houses.

The Donguibogam Village, the undisputed mecca of wellness tourism in Korea, is located at the foot of Wangsang Mountain, which holds the story of King Guyoung, the last king of Gaya. Spanning a vast area of 1.18 million square meters, Donguibogam Village is filled with experiences and attractions themed around oriental medicine, including an herbal medicine theme park and a traditional Korean medicine theme park.

A county official said, “Every autumn, Sancheong-gun is a healing hometown visited by tens of thousands of tourists every weekend. Ahead of the With Corona era, we selected the 'Top 5 Non-Face-to-Face Travel Destinations' focusing on outdoor tourist spots where social distancing can be maximally observed in daily life. We hope visitors will follow quarantine rules such as wearing masks and maintaining distance to ensure a safe trip when visiting Sancheong.”
