[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate and former Prosecutor General, held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Hall on the 28th, appealing for support by reading a 'Declaration to the Nation,' stating, "Winning with Yoon Seok-yeol will deliver the most painful defeat to the Moon Jae-in administration."

Former Prosecutor General Yoon said, "It has been four months since I declared my political participation. As I walked an unknown path, I stumbled several times," adding, "I bow my head in gratitude to the people who helped this political newcomer stand up and move forward again."

He continued, "The greatest reform of this era is regime change, and the greatest patriotism is regime change," emphasizing, "My joining the People Power Party was solely for regime change." He added, "The first step to restoring the values of liberal democracy, rule of law, and fairness, which the current administration has damaged, is to prevent the extension of power of the 'Three No's' (No Morality, No Competence, No Shame) regime."

Former Prosecutor General Yoon stated, "I will clearly fight against the 'Moon Jae-myeong' forces, symbols of irrationality, unfairness, injustice, and hypocrisy," and declared, "I will resolutely stand against and crush all forms of political manipulation, including the special prosecution for the Daejang-dong national plundering case." He also pledged to completely revise economic and foreign security policies, including People Power Party innovation, policies for self-employed and small business owners, and real estate policies.

How much hardship you have endured in the long COVID tunnel.

But just as there is light at the end of the tunnel, the COVID national crisis will soon end,

and we must prepare for the next leap forward.

It has been four months since I declared my political participation.

As I walked an unknown path, I stumbled several times.

Falling down is not failure.

Failure is sitting down where you fell.

I bow my head in gratitude to the people who helped this political newcomer stand up and move forward again.

I have worked overnight to overcome the weaknesses of a newcomer,

and I will continue to make relentless efforts.

Today's Yoon Seok-yeol is insufficient. Tomorrow's Yoon Seok-yeol will be better.

The greatest reform of this era is regime change.

The greatest patriotism is regime change.

My joining the People Power Party was solely for regime change.

The first step to restoring the values of liberal democracy, rule of law, and fairness, which the current administration has damaged,

is to prevent the extension of power of the 'Three No's' (No Morality, No Competence, No Shame) regime.

First, I will end the era of irrationality, unfairness, injustice, and hypocrisy,

and open a new era of common sense, fairness, and justice.

My lonely struggle rekindled the spark of regime change from the ashes,

igniting a blazing flame in the hearts of party members and comrades.

If that had not happened, the arrogant Democratic Party regime would now be reigning over the people,

dreaming of 20, 50, or even permanent rule.

This presidential election is a choice between electing a candidate who will eradicate corruption or one who is the root of corruption.
