[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced on the 28th that it will conduct a focused inspection on public institutions that have not implemented or have been sluggish in carrying out recommended institutional improvements.
The Commission will deploy 48 investigators in 24 teams over approximately five weeks until the end of next month to inspect about 100 public institutions nationwide.
This inspection targets institutions with very poor implementation performance of recommended institutional improvements whose deadlines have passed from 2013 to October of this year, as well as institutions that have shown a sharp increase in completed implementations compared to the previous year.
During the inspection process, actual implementation will be verified, and if any cases of excessive inflation or false submissions are confirmed, they will be reflected in the anti-corruption policy evaluation.
