[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] President Moon Jae-in conveyed a message of condolence to the family of the late former President Roh Tae-woo on the 27th.

On the morning of the 27th, President Moon said, "Former President Roh Tae-woo had significant historical mistakes, including the forced suppression of the May 18 Democratic Uprising and the December 12 military coup, but he also had achievements such as the successful hosting of the 1988 Olympics, the promotion of the Northern Policy, and the adoption of the Basic Agreement on South-North Relations."

Park Kyung-mi, the Blue House spokesperson, stated, "We prayed for the repose of the deceased and conveyed our condolences to the bereaved family."
