[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 27th, Rep. Ha Tae-kyung of the People Power Party held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Hall announcing his joining the Yoon Seok-yeol presidential primary campaign.

Joining as a co-chairman of Yoon Seok-yeol's campaign, Rep. Ha said, "There are two commonalities: the pursuit of fairness and the rule of law, and a bold, straightforward political style."

Rep. Ha is regarded as a prominent politician representing the sentiments of the 2030 generation alongside Party Leader Lee Jun-seok within the People Power Party. He gained attention for his role as a 'sharpshooter' against Rep. Hong during the first and second preliminary primaries. There are some surprising reactions both inside and outside the political circle as Rep. Ha, classified as part of the so-called 'Yoo Seung-min faction,' has joined the former Prosecutor General Yoon's camp, competing against Rep. Yoo Seung-min.
