Lee's statement regarding former President Roh's passing was posted at 9 p.m. that day. Earlier, after visiting Seongnam Medical Center in Gyeonggi Province that afternoon, when asked by reporters about former President Roh's death, Lee avoided a direct answer, saying, "I will consult with the campaign."
