Coway Receives Industrial Medal of Honor, Bronze Tower at '2021 Electronics and IT Day'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coway (CEO Lee Hae-sun and Seo Jang-won) announced on the 26th that Song Hyun-joo, head of the Design Center, received the Industrial Medal of Honor, Bronze Tower, at the '16th Electronics and IT Day 2021' commemorative event.

Electronics and IT Day is an event started by the Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Industry Promotion Association in 2005 to commemorate the achievement of $100 billion in exports in the electronics and IT industry. Every year, it honors contributors who have greatly contributed to strengthening the competitiveness of the electronics and IT industry.

Song Hyun-joo, head of Coway's Design Center, was recognized for her contributions over the past 28 years in pioneering overseas markets through design-driven innovative product research and development, enhancing the K-Design national brand image, and contributing to national economic development, receiving the Industrial Medal of Honor, Bronze Tower.

In particular, based on the 'Design First' philosophy, Director Song focused on launching differentiated products such as the Icon water purifier and Noble air purifier, significantly increasing Coway's brand value not only domestically but also in the global market.
