Improvement of Local Educational Conditions in Response to Major Provincial Education Issues and Decrease in Student Numbers

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Education for Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 26th that he visited the Hapcheon County Council and held a meeting to communicate about major educational issues.

At this meeting, the county council members listened to explanations and asked questions regarding major educational issues in Gyeongnam Province and Hapcheon, such as the 'Gyeongnam Education Recovery Comprehensive Plan, Class Innovation with iTalkTalk, Student Smart Device Distribution Project, Green Smart Future School Project,' and 'Support for Revitalizing Small Schools Tailored to the Region, Promotion of Hapcheon Happy Education District.'

They also exchanged various opinions on strengthening cooperative relationships through the Education Development Committee and improving educational conditions in the region due to the decrease in the number of students.

Chairperson Bae Mong-hee said, "I request the superintendent's positive and proactive decision regarding the current issues that Hapcheon County is trying to promote."

Superintendent Park Jong-hoon stated, "After hearing the opinions of the Hapcheon Office of Education and school members, I will not hesitate to cooperate if it is something we can assist with."
