A Study on Factors Affecting Corporate Innovation and Innovation Performance

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Changwon National University announced on the 26th that Professor Song Sin-geun of the Department of Accounting received the Best Paper Award at the '2021 Fall Academic Conference' of the Korean International Accounting Association.
This is the second time Professor Song has received the Best Paper Award from the association, having previously won it at the '2008 Fall Academic Conference.'
The awarded paper, titled "A Study on the Factors Affecting Corporate Innovation and Innovation Performance," was published in Volume 98 of the International Accounting Research Journal of the Korean International Accounting Association in 2021. It presents practical measures to assist companies in promoting corporate innovation such as technology, product, and business process innovations to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
Professor Song is an expert in ESG (Environmental, Social Responsibility, Governance) management and has actively continued his research activities with about 60 research achievements in areas including sustainable growth, performance evaluation, ERP, and BSC in corporate innovation strategy.
