'Home Halloween Instead of Itaewon'... Food and Beverage Industry Immersed in Unique Halloween Eats

'Home Halloween Instead of Itaewon'... Food and Beverage Industry Immersed in Unique Halloween Eats Representative planned products for Halloween Day at Paris Baguette.

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]The food and beverage industry is presenting unique treats ahead of Halloween Day.

On the 26th, CJ Foodville's Tous Les Jours launched a unique cake called ‘Among Us’ for Halloween. It is decorated with characters lying next to a grave or flying like ghosts, wearing cute jack-o'-lantern hats against the backdrop of a spooky night with a full moon. They also released a charming ‘Swirling Earl Grey Cream Bun’ adorned with ghost-shaped decorations.

Paris Baguette released various special products in mid-October. Representative items include ‘Cheese Soft Time,’ a cheesecake stamped with the Halloween symbol ‘pumpkin,’ and the mini castella cake ‘Little Ghost Castella.’ They also introduced cookies and candies perfect as light gifts or for daycare parties. These include the cute ghost-shaped chocolate cookie ‘Spooky Ghost Cookie,’ pumpkin-flavored pumpkin-shaped cookie ‘Sweet Pumpkin Monster Cookie,’ and the ‘Halloween Witch Hat Cookie Set,’ which contains 12 cookies filled with six sweet chocolate milk cookies and six fragrant banana milk cookies.

Papa John’s Pizza launched the ‘Halloween Pizza,’ reminiscent of the Halloween symbol jack-o'-lantern made with pepperoni and black olives. It will be sold for a limited time only for three weeks until the 14th of next month.

Hollys introduced the ‘Witch Fondant Choco Berry Hollichino,’ a rich dark chocolate drink with a refreshing berry sauce. The deep chocolate and red hues of the berries create a spooky Halloween atmosphere. Chocolate toppings that look as if a witch has dipped into the drink add a special touch.

The cafe brand ‘Morning Haze,’ operated by CJ Freshway, released a seasonal drink called ‘Black Lemon Crush’ under the concept of ‘Legend of the Black Grave.’ The Black Lemon Crush stacks black-colored lemon sherbet on top, evoking the image of a ‘black grave.’ A tube filled with strawberry syrup is inserted like a syringe to let the red syrup flow down into the drink, and a straw resembling a cross and a cup wrapped in real bandages instead of a cup holder create a Halloween atmosphere.
