DB Insurance Hosts Safety Experience Festival in the Metaverse

They opened 'Promi Camping World,' where users can experience safety related to potential dangers during camping in a virtual space on the metaverse platform 'Zepeto.' After creating an avatar using the Zepeto app, users learn about safety at a camping site set up in the virtual space.

The program is designed to focus on the most common safety accidents that occur at campsites. To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning caused by using fire inside tents, it provides information on the causes of danger and how to respond. It also offers knowledge about essential items to bring when camping, proper tent installation methods, and how to use electrical cords.

Additionally, since 2017, DB Insurance has been hosting the 'Promi Family Love Safety Experience Festival' for kindergarten and elementary school students. This year, considering social distancing measures, they created safety experience content using the metaverse.

A DB Insurance official said, "As camping has become a popular leisure activity among the public, we planned this safety experience event related to camping through the metaverse," adding, "We expect it to provide a new experience for participating customers along with learning precautions when visiting campsites."
