Samsung Electronics to Participate in 'KES 2021'... Showcasing AI and Connectivity-Based 'Team Samsung'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Samsung Electronics announced that it will participate in the "52nd Korea Electronics Show (KES 2021)" held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from the 26th to the 29th. Samsung Electronics has transformed the entire exhibition space of about 900㎡ into the "Team Samsung Studio" to provide visitors with a special experience under the theme of "Fantastic Teamwork for You," based on artificial intelligence (AI) and connectivity.

At Team Samsung Studio, representative home appliances that make up Bespoke Home, the latest video technologies such as Neo QLED 8K and Lifestyle TV, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, and Galaxy Book equipped with Windows 11 are connected through the SmartThings application (app) to demonstrate an integrated service that organically controls them like a single team.

Visitors can try products and content suited to their lifestyle in four exhibition zones of Team Samsung, divided into ▲Best Cooking ▲Clean Clothing Care ▲Home Entertainment ▲More Advanced Mobile Life.

In the Team Samsung zone for Best Cooking, visitors can select meal kits stored in the Family Hub refrigerator using the "Inside View" feature and scan the barcode, which links with the Bespoke Cooker’s "Scan Cook" function to automatically set the cooking process. They can also customize the Bespoke refrigerator as they wish using the "Prism 360 Color." In addition, various Bespoke appliances such as water purifiers, dishwashers, and induction cooktops are available.

In the Team Samsung zone for Clean Clothing Care, Bespoke Grande AI and Bespoke AirDresser are linked with the Galaxy Z Flip3 to showcase the "SmartThings Clothing Care" service. Through this service, visitors can experience smart personalized clothing care services such as "Auto Detergent Dispensing+" which automatically adds detergent and softener according to laundry weight, "AI Customized Drying" that finds the optimal drying temperature and time with precise sensors, and "Auto Detergent Purchase" which automatically connects to purchase detergent when it runs out.

In the Team Samsung zone for Home Entertainment, Neo QLED 8K, Galaxy Z Flip3, and Galaxy Watch4 are linked to demonstrate "Smart Home Training," and mobile content linkage using the lifestyle TV The Sero, as well as bezel replacement and Art Mode experience for The Frame used like a picture frame, are provided. Additionally, visitors can experience gaming linked between Neo QLED and PC, the video of the premium projector The Premiere equipped with a dedicated rollable screen and all-in-one sound, and the picture quality of Micro LED.

In the Team Samsung zone for More Advanced Mobile Life, programs to experience Galaxy mobile products, including the Galaxy Book optimized for Windows 11, are prepared. Representative programs include "My Coordination," where visitors can coordinate from the cover screen to accessories of Galaxy Z Flip3 according to their taste; "Art Collage," creating custom stickers with Galaxy Z Fold3 and S Pen; and "Quick Body Check," which analyzes body composition using Galaxy Watch4. There is also a Galaxy Z Flip3 "Bespoke Edition" corner where visitors can combine product colors according to consumer preferences and brand collaboration accessories that maximize the advantages of Galaxy Z Flip3.

Samsung Electronics also offers a "Stamp Rally Challenge," where visitors who collect more than five certification stickers at each corner receive a small souvenir to enjoy the exhibition more pleasantly.
