'Gwangyang Solo Ending', Facilitating Non-Face-to-Face Meetings for Single Men and Women

20 Unmarried Men and Women Working at Local Institutions and Companies Participate in Online Meeting Event

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] On the 25th, Gwangyang City in Jeonnam announced that it held a non-face-to-face online meeting event called ‘Gwangyang Solo Ending’ on the 23rd for 20 unmarried men and women in the region.

This event was organized to provide a healthy opportunity for unmarried men and women who have not had a chance to meet the opposite sex due to busy daily lives and the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to create a marriage-friendly social atmosphere.

The event was conducted in a non-face-to-face manner using an online video program to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and encouraged participants’ natural participation and communication through various programs such as a hands-on class for ‘Making Your Own Wood Speaker Using Wood,’ a quiz to learn about Gwangyang, and rotation matching talks.

In particular, it promoted Gwangyang as a city of light centered on the sun, moon, and stars symbolizing the brand image of ‘Gwangyang Tourism that Shines Day and Night,’ and introduced popular dating spots and representative foods for couples such as Haeoreum Overpass, Rainbow Bridge Moonlight Beach, Baealdo Island Garden Star Gazing Bridge, and Gwangyang Bulgogi.

At the event, six couples were formed through final couple matching, receiving many congratulations, and after the event, a survey was conducted to collect evaluations and suggestions regarding the overall program operation.
