Galaxia Metaverse to Debut First NFT at Shinsegae Group's 'Korea SSG Day'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Blockchain specialist company Galaxia Metaverse announced on the 25th that it will showcase its first NFT at ‘Korea SSG Day,’ the largest shopping festival in Korea hosted by Shinsegae Group.

Galaxia Metaverse’s first NFT contains volleyball team content exclusively given to customers who purchase a commemorative coin created under the theme “Sending Gold Medals to the Women’s National Volleyball Team.” This event was prepared in collaboration with Emart24, SSG.com, and Korea Gold Exchange, and can also be viewed on SSG.com’s live broadcast at 7 PM tonight.

The limited edition NFT of the women’s volleyball team can be issued by entering the serial number provided along with the commemorative medal into Galaxia Metaverse’s curation-based NFT platform ‘MetaGalaxia’ and verifying the user’s identity. This NFT can be resold later through ‘MetaGalaxia’ independently of the commemorative medal.

A company representative said, “We are proud to present MetaGalaxia’s first NFT at Korea’s largest shopping festival, Korea SSG Day,” adding, “It is especially meaningful as it commemorates the women’s national volleyball team who performed well at the Olympics.”

Meanwhile, Galaxia Metaverse is a blockchain business subsidiary of fintech specialist Galaxia Moneytree. Ahead of the official launch of the curation-based NFT platform ‘MetaGalaxia’ in November, they are also conducting a pre-event airdrop offering free NFTs of marathon legend Lee Bong-ju.
