Exhibition at MPX Gallery from the 30th to January 9th Next Year
Over 150 Works Including Unreleased New Pieces for Korean Fans on Display
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] MPX Gallery, located in IFC Mall, announced on the 25th that it will hold the first-ever domestic exhibition of miniature artist Tanaka Tatsuya's "Miniature Life Seoul: The World of Tanaka Tatsuya Revisited" starting on the 30th.
Tanaka Tatsuya is an artist who has gained attention by presenting one artwork every day without fail for 10 years since 2011. He is a global artist with over 3.3 million followers and works as an art director and designer in various fields. He creates witty miniature works using everyday objects commonly found around us, which have sparked great interest on social media.
The exhibition will be held from the 30th of this month to January 9th next year at MPX Gallery on the L3 floor of IFC Mall. The exhibition will showcase more than 150 works, including unreleased new pieces for Tanaka Tatsuya’s Korean fans, actual miniatures, and representative works.
Additionally, some of the works in this exhibition will be exclusively produced with Masterpiece, the ultra-premium glass frame by Corning Inc. in the United States, and sold as limited editions available only at MPX Gallery in IFC Mall. Furthermore, over 20 types of original goods, including exhibition-limited catalogs, posters, and postcards specially imported from Japan, will also be available for purchase.
An IFC Mall official said, "Following the Disney Art Collection held in August, we are pleased to present Tanaka Tatsuya’s 'Miniature Life' exhibition for the first time in Korea," adding, "Going forward, MPX Gallery plans to offer diverse art consumption experiences and high-quality exhibitions through collaborations with world-renowned artists, museums, and brands."
