[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Kim Yongmin, Supreme Council Member of the Democratic Party of Korea, voiced criticism against Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential primary candidate, who recently caused controversy with his 'Jeon Du-hwan remarks.'

On the 24th, Kim posted on his Facebook, stating, "A politician more shameless than Lee Myung-bak and more embarrassing to the public than Park Geun-hye has emerged, and the fact that he is a leading opposition presidential candidate is a tragedy."

He pointed out, "Yoon Seok-yeol, blinded by his lust for power and unable to distinguish right from wrong, faces a judgment from the people more terrifying than legal prosecution."

Earlier, on the 21st, Kim also wrote on his Facebook, "It is absolutely unacceptable to praise the murderer Jeon Du-hwan. It is a confession that the tears shed in Gwangju were crocodile tears."

He continued, "Seeing the Lee Myung-bak administration being called 'cool,' praising Jeon Du-hwan, and shamelessly telling the public to work 120 hours or eat substandard food if they cannot, it is becoming difficult to gauge how low candidate Yoon Seok-yeol can sink."

Furthermore, he criticized, "The scene right after the debate where Yoon, a political and prosecutorial senior and elder, Hong Joon-pyo, pats his shoulder and says in a casual tone, 'Stop it,' is shocking and, no matter how justified, is embarrassing and regrettable to watch."
