CJ ENM takes charge of content planning, production, and broadcasting

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ OnStyle announced on the 25th that it will launch the entertainment-style live commerce program 'Yurihan Georae' on the 27th.
The entertainment content showing the preparation process for the live commerce broadcast will be pre-released on the CJ ENM Entertainment YouTube channel (tvN D ENT) on the same day. This is the first entertainment-style live commerce program introduced by CJ OnStyle as part of strengthening its mobile content.
The 'Yurihan Georae' entertainment content, first released at 6 p.m. on the 25th on the official tvN D ENT YouTube channel, was jointly planned and produced by both CJ ENM Entertainment and Commerce divisions. The approximately 10-minute video captures actress Lee Yuri’s hard work preparing to successfully carry out the live commerce broadcast. After personally trying the fragrance product brand 'Taylor Scents,' which is the item for sale, Lee Yuri investigates customer reactions and even participates in the final price negotiation.
On the 27th at 9 p.m., Lee Yuri will appear on CJ OnStyle’s live commerce channel 'Live Show' to reveal the negotiation results. Following the pilot broadcast on the 20th, this will be the first live commerce broadcast linked with the entertainment content. The program plans to offer 'Taylor Scents' at more than half off the original price, along with additional items worth approximately 130,000 KRW. The 'Garden Breeze' diffuser from 'Taylor Scents,' an exclusive private brand (PB) sold only on CJ OnStyle, is a premium diffuser made with 100% French fragrance and plant-derived fermented ethanol.
On November 3rd and 10th at 9 p.m., the 'Live Show' will also sell 'Odense Sisonne' and 'Cuckoo Rice Cooker,' respectively. These will also be sold at the negotiated prices secured by Lee Yuri, with the preparation process revealed two days before each broadcast, on the 1st and 8th at 6 p.m. on the tvN D ENT YouTube channel.
CJ OnStyle plans to expand the content commerce domain beyond TV to digital media, starting with 'Yurihan Georae.' This is in response to changes in customer media consumption patterns, such as the OTT content boom and increased digital content viewing time. CJ OnStyle has previously engaged in content commerce activities linked with tvN dramas like 'Romance Is a Bonus Book,' 'Mr. Sunshine,' and 'Hotel Del Luna,' as well as entertainment programs and its exclusive brands such as 'Atssential,' 'Celeb Shop Edition,' and 'Odense.'
A CJ OnStyle official said, "CJ OnStyle planned content commerce linked with YouTube and live commerce, which have recently emerged as main distribution channels, in line with changes in customers’ content and product consumption patterns. We will combine the strengths of CJ ENM Entertainment and Commerce divisions to attempt differentiated content commerce models."
