[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hyundai Kefico announced on the 22nd that it will participate in a demonstration project to foster the personal mobility industry (PM industry) in Daegu City and work on building an e-mobility ecosystem.
Through this business agreement, Hyundai Kefico plans to expand the supply of high-quality, high-performance electric two-wheelers to break away from the low-cost component industry structure dominated by Chinese products and promote the excellence of eco-friendly K-mobility.
In particular, after establishing solutions verified for safety and reliability in Daegu City, standardized global operation and certification standards will be established to expand global business.
First, a battery exchange service demonstration project for commercial delivery operators in Daegu will be launched next month, and by the end of this year, 100 electric two-wheelers and battery exchange stations will be installed in Daegu City.
Hyundai Kefico will provide MOBILGO 7, a high-performance electric two-wheeler control solution recently launched, and MOLDA, an IoT-based vehicle management and control service.
Additionally, Hyundai Kefico is participating in the Daegu International Future Auto Expo 2021, held at the Daegu Expo until the 24th, together with companies from the Daegu PM industry promotion council, introducing e-mobility technology to the public.
Hyundai Kefico is showcasing the MOBILGO lineup, consisting of total control solutions including electric two-wheeler drive systems, vehicle control, IoT, and cooling systems, featuring MOBILGO 7, 5, and 3, as well as three-wheeled differential gears and Battery Swap Service (BSS).
