"Give Me a Nickname" Wave Original 'Since It's Come to This, I'm Going to Cheongwadae' to Be Released Next Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Joeslgina] Online video service (OTT) Wavve has started communicating with viewers by holding a nickname contest ahead of the opening of the original drama "Since It Has Come to This, I’m Going to Cheongwadae."

According to Wavve on the 22nd, this drama, which will be fully released on Wavve on the 12th of next month, is a political black comedy drama that unfolds a "bittersweet and real" satire set during a hectic week when Lee Jeongeun (played by Kim Sungryeong), a celebrity and former gold medalist suddenly appointed as Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, faces the kidnapping of her husband, political commentator Kim Seongnam (played by Baek Hyunjin).

Before the drama’s release, Wavve prepared an event where viewers can directly decide the official nickname of the drama. Participants can write witty abbreviated titles in the comments of Wavve’s official SNS posts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). The participation period is until the 27th.

Additionally, Wavve is also conducting a "Title Academy" SNS event. By leaving fresh and fun titles suitable for drama scene images in the comments, participants will be automatically entered. The event period is from the 29th to November 4th.

Winners of the events will receive beverage vouchers and Wavve usage coupons as prizes.
