[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] On Friday the 22nd, the lowest and highest temperatures are expected to be cold, similar to the previous day, ranging from 1 to 11 degrees and 14 to 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 21st, the expected lowest temperatures by region on the 22nd are 6°C in Seoul, 7°C in Incheon and Daegu, 4°C in Daejeon, 6°C in Gwangju, 9°C in Ulsan, and 10°C in Busan. These are about 5 degrees lower than the historical average lowest temperatures for October.

The highest temperatures are expected to be 17°C in Seoul, Daejeon, and Gwangju; 16°C in Incheon; 18°C in Daegu and Ulsan; and 19°C in Busan.

Although most of the country will be mostly clear, there will be many clouds in Gangwon, the Jeolla west coast, Gyeongbuk, the Gyeongnam east coast, and Jeju, with some areas expecting rain.

Rain is expected to start in the morning in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon and the northern east coast of Gyeongbuk, in the afternoon in the southern east coast of Gyeongbuk, and in the evening on the east coast of Gyeongnam.

From the afternoon to nighttime on the 22nd, there will be gusty winds along with thunder and lightning in Gangwon, the northern inland area of Gyeongbuk, and the Gyeongsang east coast. Some areas may also experience hail.

From the night of the 21st to the morning of the 22nd, dense fog reducing visibility to less than 200 meters may form mainly in the central region, Jeonbuk, and the northern inland area of Gyeongbuk.

From the afternoon of the 22nd, strong winds reaching 35 to 60 km/h and waves 2 to 4 meters high are expected in the southern East Sea offshore and the outer southern sea of Jeju, so caution is required for maritime activities.
