[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who was hospitalized for a urological condition and discharged after six days, expressed, "I am really happy to be home. I am enjoying the beautiful autumn weather."


On the 21st (local time), ABC News in the U.S. released the first video of former President Bill Clinton after his discharge. He had been hospitalized on the 12th due to a urological condition and was discharged after six days.


In a video posted on Twitter the previous night, former President Clinton said, "I was touched by the support I received during my hospitalization," and added, "I want to thank the doctors and nurses at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) Medical Center who took excellent care of me for several days."


Clinton, who turned 75 this year, was admitted on the 12th for treatment of a urological inflammation that had spread to his bloodstream and was discharged on the 17th.


In the video, which lasted just over a minute, he said, "I am really happy to be back home. I am doing well and enjoying the beautiful autumn weather. I am continuing to recover." He also urged, "I hope everyone remembers to 'take time to listen to your body and take care of yourself.'"


He continued, "We all have things to do and important roles in life and the near future," adding, "I will do my best to continue doing the best work I can for as long as possible."
